Discovery callProvsvaret needed a complete digital solution for drug testing with three separate but integrated platforms: A customer portal where companies can create digital referrals and book test appointments, an admin portal to process analyses and manage operations, and an e-commerce shop for selling test equipment. The solution required Clerk authentication for secure access, MongoDB for data storage, Resend API for automated email notifications, and full GDPR compliance.
We built three Next.js 15 applications with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Implemented Clerk authentication with organization management for multi-tenant architecture. Created a MongoDB database with Zod schema validation for referrals, bookings, analyses, and products. Integrated Resend API for automated email notifications for new referrals, booking confirmations, and analysis results. Developed an e-commerce shop with product catalog, shopping cart, and order management. All GDPR-secure with encrypted data storage.
18 months in production with 14,400+ drug tests processed annually. Three fully integrated platforms communicating via MongoDB: Customer portal with 90% user satisfaction for digital referral management and bookings, admin portal with 60% admin time savings for analysis processing and operations management, and e-commerce shop for test equipment. 99.9% uptime, zero security incidents, and 100% GDPR compliance since day 1.
